Chery Omoda E5 Greets Malaysia Market, Even Though CBU Directly From China But Prices Are Cheaper
JAKARTA - After officially launching in Indonesia last February, the Chery Omoda E5 began to appear in various countries including Malaysia, which is priced at 146,800 ringgit of IDR 488 million cheaper than the Indonesian market which touched IDR 498.8 million.

The battery is an iron phosphate lithium unit (LFP) of 61 kWh sourced from BYD and capable of traveling 430 km in the WLTP cycle. The power consumption is claimed to be 15.5 kWh per 100 km.
In addition, for charging, the e-Future Ranger has a three-phase AC on board charger with a maximum power of 9.9 kW, as well as DC fast charging of up to 80 kW, and the latter is capable of charging the battery from 30 to 80 percent in 28 minutes.
Interestingly, there is also a vehicle-to-load (V2L) function that allows cars to power up to 3.3 kW to power equipment and electrical devices, the same as models in Indonesia.
