Chery Omoda E5 Greets Malaysia Market, Even Though CBU Directly From China But Prices Are Cheaper

JAKARTA - After officially launching in Indonesia last February, the Chery Omoda E5 began to appear in various countries including Malaysia, which is priced at 146,800 ringgit of IDR 488 million cheaper than the Indonesian market which touched IDR 498.8 million.

In addition, for charging, the e-Future Ranger has a three-phase AC on board charger with a maximum power of 9.9 kW, as well as DC fast charging of up to 80 kW, and the latter is capable of charging the battery from 30 to 80 percent in 28 minutes.

Interestingly, there is also a vehicle-to-load (V2L) function that allows cars to power up to 3.3 kW to power equipment and electrical devices, the same as models in Indonesia.

In terms of design, this electric SUV looks similar to the ICE-powered Omoda 5 from all corners except the front, where there are no electric cars like electric cars in general.

On the dimensions of Omoda E5 has a length of 4,420 mm and a width of 1,830 mm, as well as a wheelbase of 2,630 mm, and a ground clearance of 145 mm and a baggage volume of 483 liters. Overall, there is nothing different from the Indonesian version.
