JCI Opens Up 0.18 Percent, ASII and ARTO Shares Rise
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) at the opening of trading Wednesday 6 March 2024 experienced a strengthening of 13.06 points or 0.18 percent to the position of 7,260,524 at 09.20 WIB this morning.
Meanwhile, the JCI opened at 7,247.59, while the highest level for the JCI today was 7,276.58 and the lowest was 7,253.30.
The total share trading volume on the IDX reached 3.07 billion, with a transaction value reaching IDR 1.13 trillion.
There were 204 shares rising, 194 shares falling, and 230 shares flat.
The LQ45 index rose 0.40 percent, while Japan's Nikkei 225 index moved down 0.23 percent, Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 0.60 percent, China's Shanghai Composite weakened 0.42 percent, and Singapore's Straits Times rose 0.91 percent.
As for those who entered the Top Gainers ranks, namely PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) rose 75 or 1.47 percent to IDR 5,175, PT Bank Jago Tbk (ARTO) rose 120 or 4.49 percent to IDR 2,790, PT Barito Renewable Energy Tbk (BREN) rose 100 or 1.69 percent to IDR 6,000.

Meanwhile, among the top losers, PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) shares fell 110 or 4.33 percent to IDR 2,430, PT Jasa Marga Tbk (JSMR) shares fell 100 or 1.88 percent to IDR 5,225, and PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP) shares fell 150 or 1.32 percent to IDR 11,225.
