Geely Launches The Dragon Edition Mini EV Panda Electric Car, The Price Is Only IDR 80 Million
JAKARTA - Chinese electric car manufacturer Geely launched the Panda Mini EV Dragon Edition. Its overall appearance is no different from its predecessor which was released in 2022, but there has been a significant increase in the specifications of this Mini EV Panda, as reported by Carnewschina, quoted Monday, March 4.
Geely Panda Mini Dragon Edition is an electric vehicle (EV) offered at a price of 39,900 yuan or around Rp. 87 million, offering a range of up to 200 km. It should be noted that this price shows competition in the price of electric vehicles taking place in China. While previous versions of this car had a high-end version at a price of 56,900 yuan or around Rp. 124 million, also with the same range.
In detail, Geely Panda Mini has a two-door design with four seats, combining black-and-white elements reminiscent of pandas, which aim to meet youth market preferences. Its compact dimension is 3,065 mm long, 1,522 mm wide, 1,600 mm high, and the 2015 mm wheelbase allows it to maneuver agilely in urban environments.
Panda Mini's exterior design features a narrow jar with decorative strips along its edges, equipped with round-shaped headlights, as well as aerodynamically designed wheels to reduce wind barriers. The back adopts a minimalist approach with polygonal backlight assemblies and embedded number plate areas, adding to the depth of the design impression.
The Geely Panda Mini interior features a relatively unusual asymmetric design, with the central control area closer to the passenger side, steering wheel with dual cross design, and the center console equipped with floating touch screens. However, due to position and cost considerations, most dashboards and door panels are made of hard material.
