Meta Launches API Threads Trial With Several Partners

JAKARTA - After several months of development, Meta Platform Inc. announced that they are currently testing Threads API on a number of its partners.

This API threads will allow content creators, developers and brands to manage their Threads presence on a large scale and share new ideas with communities from other third-party apps.

Over the past few months, we have built API Threads to allow content creators, developers and brands to manage the presence of Threads on a large scale, wrote Meta engineer Jesse Chen in his Threads post quoted on Sunday, March 3.

Chen also explained that this API allows users to authenticate, publish a series of messages, and retrieve content they post through this tool.

Meta has now carried out testing with a small number of partners, including social media management platforms Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Social News Desk, and Sprout Social.

In addition, Meta is also working with technology news aggregator Techmeme and live video platform Grabyo. Although Meta limits access to the Beta version, the tech giant hopes the API is widely available by the end of June.

Launching Amazon, API is used to integrate new applications with existing software systems. With this API, Threads seems to be trying to get more users.
