SUM 41 Performs Queen To Deep Purple Songs At Separation Concerts
JAKARTA - SUM 41 displayed more than 20 repertoires during a farewell concert titled Tour of the Setting Sum which was held at Uptown Park Summarecon Mall Serpong, Tangerang on Friday, March 1 evening.
Not only featuring his best songs, Canadian band Deryck Whibyy (vocals), Dave Baksh (guitar), Jason McCaslin (bass), Tom Thacker (guitar, keyboard), and Frank Zummo (drums) also performed songs from other rock bands.
DI tengah medley lagu, SUM 41 memainkan bagian lagu Another Brick in the Wall, karya monumental dari band rock legendari Inggris, Pink Floyd.
Furthermore, SUM 41 also performed the song We Will Rock You from another legendary British band, Queen. The audience sang with Daryck Whibyy throughout the song chorus.
It didn't stop there, before entering the concert final session, Whibley with his guitar played a famous riff that is no longer foreign to rock music lovers.
Without being accompanied by the band, Whibyy played intro the song Smoke on the Water from Deep Purple and Seven Nation Army from The White Stripes.
"I can only get there," said Deck Whibley, greeted by laughter from the audience.

Then, SUM 41 continued its appearance by performing a repertoire of its best songs, such as Pieces, In Too Deep, and Still Waiting.
Fat Lip, the hit from the album All Killer No Filler (2001) was the closing of the 41st SUM concert last night. The audience still hasn't lost their energy, they sing along the song.
"Goodbye, thank you to everyone. Thank you," said Deck Whibley at the end of his performance.
