Case Of Child Bullying Of VR Artist Involves Alumni Figure, Status Named As Suspect

South Tangerang Metro Police said that of the 12 people suspected of being involved in the bullying case at Binus School Serpong which dragged the name of the daughter of a VR artist, FLR, there was one alumni.

The details of the suspect consisted of 8 children in conflict with the law and 4 suspects. However, in a press conference, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Tangerang Metro Police, AKP Alvino Cahyadi, said that an alumni figure was involved.

"One is no longer attending private high schools, three are still," said AKP Alvino Cahyadi at the South Tangerang Police, Friday, March 1.

Even though he has been named a suspect, Alvino said that he will still determine the next steps regarding detention or must report to the parties.

"It will be conveyed further," said AKP Alvino Cahyadi.

Likewise, the fate of the daughter of a VR artist, FLR, who was originally a witness, is now included in the category of Child in Conflict with Law along with 6 other children.

"Seven witnesses' children are designated as children who are in conflict with the law (ABH) who are suspected of committing criminal acts of violence against minors and/or beatings as referred to in Article 76C in conjunction with Article 80 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning the Second Amendment to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection and/or Article 170 of the Criminal Code," explained AKP Alvino Cahyadi.
