Gathan Saleh Shoots His Colleague Because He Is Upset About Being Ridiculed On WhatsApp
East Jakarta Metro Police revealed the motive for the shooting allegedly carried out by Gathan Saleh Hilabi against his colleague with the initials MAM (32) at a shophouse in the Jatinegara area, East Jakarta.
"The motive was to mock each other, starting with a chat in WA mocking each other. Maybe the alleged perpetrator felt disappointed with the victim, so he came from his house in South Jakarta to East Jakarta," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly when confirmed, Thursday, February 29.
Meanwhile, regarding the use of firearms allegedly carried out by the alleged perpetrator Gathan to shoot the victim, Gathan admitted to investigators that the firearm was to protect him.
"The results of the information to investigators, firearms are sometimes brought to protect themselves. (but) They are not always carried," he said.

The police are also still investigating the possession of the firearms of the perpetrators who came from where.
"According to him, he got it from a friend who had died. That's the alibi for the alleged perpetrator," he said.
Meanwhile, from the results of the urine test, Gathan was positive for using drugs.
"After we examined the alleged perpetrator and checked urine, he tested positive for drugs and psychotropic substances. Types of marijuana and psychotropic substances in the form of benzodiazepin," he said.
