Gathan Saleh Hilabi Claims To Throw Firearms Into The River, Police Believe?

Gathan Saleh Hilabi, the suspected shooter in the Jatinegara area, East Jakarta, is trying to eliminate evidence of the firearm he used to shoot his colleague some time ago.

"For the weapons used by the alleged perpetrator, investigators have not yet found them. Alibi, which was built by the alleged perpetrator, has been dumped in the Ciliwung River," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly to reporters, Thursday, February 29.

Despite hearing the suspect's reasons, Kombes Nicolas is still investigating it. The police also did not easily believe the reasons given by the alleged shooter.

"However, investigators will not be satisfied with the alibi built by the alleged perpetrator. Investigators will conduct further investigations with the alibi that was built," he said.

Gathan Saleh Hilabi, the suspected shooter, was arrested in the Bogor area, West Java.

"The suspect was arrested at a car showroom in the Tajur area, South Bogor," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly to reporters, Thursday, February 29.
