Prince Harry Loses In Court Lawsuit On Loss Of Security Protection

JAKARTA - Prince Harry lost a court lawsuit against the British government's decision to lift the taxpayer-funded protection after he quit royal duty.Harry took legal action against the Head Office after it was decided in February 2020 that he would no longer be given "the same level" protection while in the country.During a hearing in December, as written by British news agency PA Media quoted by CNN, Harry's lawyers argued that the decision meant he was "selected" and treated "less well".Still according to PA Media, his lawyer also cited a failure to consider the impact on Britain's reputation on the "successful attack" on Harry, who has lived with his wife Meghan in California since July 2020.However, the court ruled that the decision was justifiable and "not undermined by procedural injustice."”The Duke of Sussex is so vocal about his family safety, often making comparisons between his wife's treatment and what his mother, Diana faced.The late Wales princess died in 1997 after suffering deep injuries as a result of a high-speed car accident in Paris. This legal case is one of several lawsuits by Prince Harry in England.
