Medium And Premium Quality Rice Drop Prices At Cipinang Main Market
The price of medium and premium quality rice at the Cipinang Rice Main Market, East Jakarta, has decreased.
Medium quality rice from Bulog is sold at the Cipinang Rice Main Market at a price of IDR 10,600 per kilogram.
Meanwhile, premium quality rice fell to Rp13,500 - Rp13,700 per kilogram, after yesterday's Rp14,500 per kilogram.
"Today it has dropped and there is a lot of supply. People don't have to worry. The price of premium quality rice was Rp. 13,500.00 - Rp. 13,700 per kilogram at the Cipinang Rice Main Market, yesterday it was Rp. 14,500 per kilogram," said Head of Indonesian Rice Entrepreneurs (Perpadi) DKI Jakarta, Nellys Soekidi told reporters, Wednesday, February 28.
The availability of rice at the Cipinang Rice Main Market, East Jakarta is medium and premium quality. Nellys said, all medium and premium quality rice had dropped.
"There is a medium, there is premium, everything goes down. Today's supply is normal, the transition is from up to down. If the supply automatically goes down," he said.

Meanwhile, Head of the National Food Agency (Bapanas) Arief Prasetya said, along with the decline in rice prices, the price of unhulled rice would also gradually fall.
From the previous figure of Rp. 8,600.00 to Rp. 8,700.00, it will decrease to Rp. 8,000.00 to Rp. 6,500.00.
"When prices at the farmer level move down, the figure may be around Rp. 6,500.00. There should be no more issue that the government does not care about farmers' grain, this is not the case. The government through Bulog will keep prices at the farmer level," he said.
