Olivia Dalton, Deputy Press Secretary Of The White House, Leaves Her Position To Join Apple
JAKARTA - Olivia Dalton, Deputy Presidential Press Secretary of the White House and longtime aide to President Joe Biden, has notified senior staff that she plans to leave her position for a senior communications work at Apple. Two sources told Reuters on Monday, February 26.
Dalton will leave the White House in mid-March. He has been deputy press secretary of the White House since August 2022, reporting to Karine Jean-Pierre.
Dalton notified senior Biden's staff last week of plans to leave for Apple's communications team, the sources said, speaking on condition of anonymity.
Dalton has been addressing various domestic and foreign policy issues for Biden since 2006, when he was deputy press secretary for the time Senator Biden.

He spent most of President Barack Obama's first term as a spokesperson at the Department of Transportation and became a spokesperson for first lady Michelle Obama during the 2012 re-election campaign.
Dalton entered the current government in January 2021 as a spokesman for the US Mission to the United Nations. He also served as senior adviser at the National Security Council during efforts to re-place Afghan refugees across the United States.
One of the architects of US President Joe Biden's economic policy, Joelle Gamble, will also leave the White House.
