Visited By The Ministry Of Education And Culture, Research And Technology, Binus Serpong High School Escapes Sanctions

TANGERANG BUS International SMA BSD Serpong, South Tangerang (Tangsel) escaped sanctions after the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) made a visit to the school.

"Binus has shown good faith to solve this problem and it has been realized that there is no need for sanctions on Binus," said Inspector General of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Chatarina Muliana, to reporters in Binus Serpong, South Tangerang, Monday, February 26.

Chatarina admitted that she had no problem if Binus Serpong escaped the sanctions. Because for him, the most important right is for the school to ensure that there are no more incidents of bullying.

"The important thing for us is how Binus can prevent and make sure there are no more preventive cases," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the news of the issuance of a number of Binus International Serpong students, South Tangerang (Tangsel) who were involved in cases of bullying, was in the spotlight of the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (KemenPPPA).

According to Assistant Deputy for Special Protection for Children from KemenPPPA Violence Ciput Eka Purwanti, there is a law that regulates the students involved.

"Actually, it is not allowed to immediately remove the child from the student status at the school. Actually, it is prohibited by law," said Ciput Eka Purwanti to reporters, Friday, February 23.
