Present At Several Automotive Exhibitions Including This March, Honda E Is Only For Display
JAKARTA - Honda is one of the manufacturers that offers a global electric vehicle (EV) model even though the options are still limited. Call it Honda e for the European and Japanese markets.
The city car-style Honda e has also gone through foreign automotive exhibitions in Indonesia. Unfortunately, this car is not meant to be marketed.
This was confirmed by Yusak Billy, as Sales & Marketing and Aftersales Director of PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM), saying that there were quite a lot of those who asked about this car in Indonesia, but he emphasized that Honda e's presence at several exhibitions was only a display in introducing technology from the manufacturer with the H logo.
"For Honda e we don't sell. We only display it to introduce technology and for the sake of study needs," said Billy during the IIMS 2024 exhibition.
This futuristic-style car was previously introduced to the European and Japanese markets in 2020, as Honda's first electric vehicle (EV). Unfortunately, the production of this vehicle was stopped in January 2024.
This car was previously also stopped from producing in Europe. Many have asked, 'is this sold or not?' we will answer that it is not sold in Indonesia, "added Billy.
