AHY: Prabowo-SBY's Meeting In Cikeas Becomes A Model For Relations Of National Figures
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) said that the meeting of presidential candidates number two Prabowo Subianto with the sixth president of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) in Cikeas, West Java, last Friday, could be a model of a relationship between national figures. "In my opinion, this relationship respects each other, in my opinion, is something very good. This must be a model in the relationship between national figures," said AHY in his statement, Sunday, February 25. AHY, who is SBY's son, admitted that he had not received a story from his father about the content of the conversation with Prabowo in Cikeas. AHY has just returned from a working visit as a minister in Manado, North Sulawesi. However, he is grateful that the two national figures held a meeting. "Frankly, I have not received the story myself, so I really want to hear it. What we are grateful for is Pak Prabowo's relationship with Pak SBY is like friends, who need each other in the sense of wanting his friends to be successful," he said.
