Ministry Of Religion Postpones Announcement Of Saudi Arabia's PPIH Selection Results
The Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) has postponed the announcement of the results of the selection of Saudi Arabia's Hajj Organizers (PPIH) 1445 H/2024 M at the central level which was originally to be delivered on February 26, 2024.
"The results of this selection were originally scheduled to be announced on February 26, 2024. However, there were still a number of preparations so the announcement was postponed," said Ministry of Religion spokesman Anna Hasbie in Jakarta, Sunday, February 25, as quoted by ANTARA.
Anna said the postponement of the announcement was specifically for PPIH Saudi Arabia or non-cluter officers who did not accompany the pilgrims directly.
"The announcement of the results of this selection will be informed later," said Anna.
For kloster officers, said Anna, now they have started to follow technical guidance (bimtek). This program is organized by each Hajj embarkation.
"Bimtek kloster officers have started walking in each Hajj embarkation from February 19 to March 4, 2024. They are prepared to become professional officers so that they can provide the best service to pilgrims," said Anna.
In addition to the bimtek of chlotary officers, currently the Directorate General of Hajj and Umrah continues to make various preparations for organizing the pilgrimage. Domestically, phase I repayment has been closed on February 23, 2024. In total there are 200,601 regular participants who pay for the cost of Hajj.
"There is still a remaining quota, so the second phase of payment will be opened from March 13 to 26, 2024," he said.
