Gatot Nurmantyo Supports The Right Of Administrative Rights: If You Use The Street Parliament, There Could Be Chaos
The Presidium of the Coalition for Action to Save Indonesia (WE), General (Ret.) TNI Gatot Nurmantyo agreed with the plan for the right to fraud in the 2024 General Election in the DPR. For him, the right to inquiry in the DPR is more appropriate than bringing election problems to the realm of the Constitutional Court (MK) or Bawaslu.
"Yes, now we are punishing the Constitutional Court, how can it be trusted? How can Bawaslu be trusted? So according to the rules of this country, the last place is the right of inquiry," Gatot told reporters after the public discussion on the theme of the Indonesian People Sue in Menteng, Central Jakarta, Friday, February 23, as quoted from Kumparan.
Bagi Gatot, hak angket lebih baik dibanding parlemen jalanan yang bisa menimbulkan kerusuhan politik.
"If it (the right of inquiry) can't, then the parliament of the streets will have to work," said Gatot. "It's a shame if you use the parliament on the streets, there could be chaos and so on," he continued.
"But if this right of inquiry runs, we'll see about this. So which truth has actually happened," he added.

Previously reported the presidential candidate number three, Ganjar Pranowo, said that the discourse on the right of inquiry he rolled out was the best choice to investigate allegations of fraud in the 2024 presidential election. All parties do not need to worry about this proposal.
What is meant by the right of inquiry is the right to conduct an investigation into the implementation of government laws/policies related to important, strategic, and broad impacts on the life of the community, nation and state which are suspected to be contrary to statutory regulations.
"It's the best thing to be able to clarify all of this, yes, the use of the right to control the constitutional rights from the DPR to then make the investigation the best, fairest," said Ganjar Ganjar to reporters at the Secretariat of the Presidential Winning Volunteer Coordinator Team (TKRPP), Menteng, Central Jakarta, Friday, February 23.
"So there's no need to be afraid. This is normal and has happened in Indonesian history," continued this white hair figure.
Ganjar believes that this right of inquiry can later open many things because there are data, facts and witnesses presented. And everything can be opened so that the public can see later who is right. So in my opinion the most appropriate way," he explained.
