Xpeng Expands Foreign Markets, UAE Becomes The Next Destination
JAKARTA - Electric vehicle manufacturer Xpeng announced a strategic partnership with the UAE-based distributor group Ali & Sons, marking a milestone in the company's international growth strategy.
Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Friday, February 23, this step is also part of the Go Abroad 2.0 strategy, where Xpeng seeks to attract more and more foreign distributors who have the same vision of delivering smart electric vehicle technology to local consumers.
"The new market we announced today is recognized as the core growth of the new energy vehicle market and represents a visionary move for Xpeng's entry into the EMEA market," said Tang Zhikun, General Manager of the Xpeng International Business Department.
He further said that the company's goal is none other than to become an industry leader in intelligent electric vehicles, worldwide including the Middle East market.
"We are committed not only to developing products that meet the needs of local customers but also to provide a leading technology experience and high-quality services to global customers," he added.

As is known, Xpeng has entered into a strategic partnership with distributor groups in the Middle East and Africa, including Ali & Sons in the UAE, RAYA Group in Egypt, SR Group in Azerbaijan, T Gargour & Fils Group in Jordan, and Gargour Asia SAL Group in Lebanon. Starting in the second quarter, various Xpeng vehicle models will be available for sale and delivery in five countries in the Middle East and African regions.
Following a strategic partnership with distributor groups in the Middle East and Africa this year, Xpeng plans to sell the Xpeng G6 and G9 SUV models in Jordan and Lebanon in the second quarter as well as the UAE and Egypt in the third quarter.
In addition, Xpeng aims to expand its presence in other European markets, including Germany, the UK, Italy, and France, throughout this year. With a focus on Europe and now a potential market in the Middle East and Africa, Xpeng plans to introduce a more customized vehicle model to increase sales and market share by 2024.
