Free Lunch Program Already Running In Pasar Rebo, Enthusiastic Residents
East Jakarta Metro Police distributed ready-to-eat food to residents in the slum area along the river, Jalan TB Simatupang, RT 10/01, Gedong Village, Pasar Rebo District, East Jakarta, Thursday, February 22.
East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly said the activity of providing ready-to-eat food to local residents was given free of charge.
"The purpose of distributing food is to ease the daily burden of the local community. This activity is a form of Polri's empathy for residents in need," said Kombes Nicolas to reporters.
The police chief said this activity was carried out every day at all Polsek ranks with different locations - different locations.

A total of 300 ready-to-eat box rice are distributed to residents for free. Distribution starts at 11.00 WIB at noon.
"It is hoped that there will be good communication between the community and the Police. And hopefully the Police will be trusted by the community again," he said.
This social action was enthusiastically welcomed by the residents because it was enough to help them. The head of the local RT Wijanarko said he was very grateful for the free food that had been given and this is a form of Polri's concern which is highly expected by the community.
"Our hope is that this program will continue to be held continuously," he said.
