PSSI Still Looking For The Technical Director, PSSI Chairman: Wants To Be From Germany
JAKARTA - PSSI General Chairperson (Ketum), Erick Thohir, said that currently the federation is still looking for the Technical Director (Dirtek) to occupy the space left by Indra Sjafri. In the search process, he wanted the figure of the Director of Research and Technology to come from Germany.
The position of PSSI's Director of Technology is currently still vacant because Indra Sjafri has shifted to being the coach of the U-20 Indonesian national team. Later, the task of the new Director of Technology will support all national team coaches, from Shin Tae-yong, Indra Sjafri, Nova Arianto, to Satoru Mochizuki in the Indonesian Women's National Team.
"Currently we are still looking for (Dirtek). We haven't met. I have spoken to coach Indra that we will look for the Director of Technology to support coach STY, coach Indra, and coach Satoru," said Erick Thohir.
The chairman of PSSI admitted that he still had not found the right person. However, personally he expressed his desire for a new Dirtek to come from Germany.
