TKA Retribution Corruption, Former Head Of Central Bengkulu Manpower And Transmigration Office Delegated To The Kejari

BENGKULU - Elpi Eriantoni, a suspect in the corruption case of foreign labor retribution (TKA) in Central Bengkulu, was detained at the Malabero Rutan, Bengkulu City.

The detention of the former Head of the Manpower and Transmigration Office (Disnakertrans) of Central Bengkulu after the suspect and case files were transferred to the Central Bengkulu District Attorney (Kejari).

"After being handed over to the suspect, he was immediately detained at the Bengkulu City Class II B Detention Center for the next 20 days and we immediately carried out the filing so that the Bengkulu corruption court would immediately be transferred to trial," said Head of Intelligence Marjek Ravilo during the Dhibungi, Wednesday, February 21, which was confiscated by Antara. After making the detention, Marjek said the Central Bengkulu Kejari would immediately submit it to the Bengkulu Corruption Court.

He explained, based on an audit conducted by the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), the state losses to this corruption case amounted to Rp1.67 billion.

Meanwhile, regarding the existence of other suspects, it will be seen from the trial that will be held later, because based on the suspect's provisional confession, the money from the corruption was used for himself. "The result is that the suspect admitted that he was enjoyed himself. However, we do not really believe it and we will prove that he will be tried later," he said. The suspect Elpi Eriantoni is suspected of having received money from TKA's extension of his tenure in Central Bengkulu during the period of 2018-2019 when he was the Head of the Central Bengkulu Manpower and Transmigration Division. The allegation was strengthened by evidence of money sent to the Central Bengkulu Manpower and Transmigration Office account being processed by the suspect by being disbursed in the bank, not deposited into the Regional Treasury (Kasda) as Regional Original Revenue (PAD). The money was used for personal gain.
