Old Revenge In The Middle Of Alcoholic Party, Victims Of Persecution Stabbed In The Neck
JAKARTA - The Banyumas Police Criminal Investigation Unit arrested a perpetrator of the persecution using sharp weapons that occurred in Patikraja Village, Patikraja District, Banyumas Regency, Central Java.
The Head of Banyumas Police, Kombes Pol. Edy Suranta Sitepu, through the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit, Kompol Adriansyah Rithas Hasibuan, explained that the commotion between the victim and the perpetrator occurred when the perpetrator was having a drinking party with his friends.
The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit explained that the incident took place on Sunday, February 18 at around 16.00 WIB. The perpetrator along with six of his friends were drinking alcohol in a hut in Patikraja.
Then the victim, Dodi (31), a resident of Notog Village, came, asking one of the people who was drinking at the substation regarding the old problem with the victim's brother.
At that time there was a verbal altercation between the victim and the perpetrator outside the hut. The commotion ensued, the perpetrator injured the victim with a knife until the victim fell down. Realizing the victim was helpless, the perpetrator fled.
"The perpetrator's mode of persecution was due to emotion towards the victim who asked him to fight, so the perpetrator took a knife and beat the victim to the ground. The victim suffered cuts to the neck and chest injuries", said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit, Kompol Adriansyah, in a written statement, Tuesday, February 20.
After receiving the report, the Patikaraja Police together with the Resmob Unit of the Banyumas Police Criminal Investigation Unit conducted an intensive investigation and succeeded in arresting the perpetrators in Dawuhan Village, Banjarnegara Regency on Sunday night, February 18.

The perpetrators along with the evidence were brought to the Banyumas Police Satreskrim Office for further processing. "The evidence that we have secured includes a 20-cm black folding knife and an Eiger black waist bag", said the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit.
The perpetrator is suspected of being under the criminal act of persecution using a knife as referred to in Article 351 Paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code.
"The perpetrator is threatened with a sentence of five years in prison", he concluded.
