Severe Trauma, Victims Of Binus Serpong High School Bullying Visit UPTD PPA Accompanied By Family

TANGERANG - ASS (17), a student at Binus Serpong High School, admitted that he was traumatized by bullying which was allegedly carried out by a number of seniors at his school. To follow up on this case, ASS accompanied by family members visited the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) and the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (Kemen PPPA).

KPAI Commissioner Diyah Puspitarini explained, ASS will definitely need time to escape the trauma caused by bullying.

"We may have received such treatment in the past, it will definitely take time to recover," said Diyah Puspitarini to reporters at the South Tangerang PPA UPTD, Tuesday, February 20.

However, he did not know the level of trauma experienced by the victim. Therefore, his party is investigating the victim's mental condition.

"Well, the trauma level, I don't know. That's psychological. What's important, we made sure earlier, did we get psychological assistance? Already. Children still need recovery," he said.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of PPPA Service Officer, Permina Sinaturi, ensured that her party would help improve the condition of ASS's PIskilogist.

"We only make sure the legal process goes well, ensuring this child is also in his period of psychological recovery," he concluded.
