Marc Klok Responds To His Position Starting To Shift In The Indonesian National Team, The Figure Of Shin Tae-yong Is Also Discussed
JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team midfielder, Marc Klok, responded to the situation in the Garuda Squad which was starting to shift. In response to this, the Persib Bandung player also discussed Shin Tae-yong's authority as the coach of the Indonesian national team.
Recently, the name Marc Klok has not become Shin Tae-yong's first choice in the Indonesian national team. When helping the Garuda Squad appear in the 2023 Asian Cup, Klok only got a total of less than 15 minutes of playing.
When appearing in the inaugural match against Iraq on January 15, 2024, Klok appeared in the 76th minute replacing Ivar Jenner. After that moment, Klok was no longer visible and raised the issue that he was starting to shift.
In response to this, Marc Klok was relaxed. As a footballer he felt he could not blame anyone, including coach Shin Tae-yong. He said the coach must have the tactics that have been prepared and know who will be played.

Instead of blaming Shin Tae-yong for the situation, this former Persija Jakarta player prefers to focus on his own performance.
"In football we can only focus on our own business," said Marc Klok in a statement quoted on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.
"In the end, the coach makes the choice and we have to accept this choice," he said.
Furthermore, Klok was reluctant to blame the coach's decision and chose legowo. You see, he realized that currently the Indonesian national team also has many players with no less good talent.
Klok prefers to focus on his ability to regain trust and be able to get playing time again.
"Right now there are so many good players and every player deserves to play, sometimes me, sometimes other people," Klok said.
"The most important thing right now is that you stay focused on the main thing. We can provide the maximum possible effort," he said.
