Jurgen Klopp Is More Interested In Training Madrid Or Barcelona Than The German National Team

JAKARTA - Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, was once linked to become a coach for the German national team. However, Klopp turned out to be more interested in dealing with Real Madrid or Barcelona.

Klopp was once said to be dealing with the German national team after Liverpool. The news had already appeared when Die Mannschaft was still held by Joachim Loew.

However, when Loew placed his post after Euro 2020, Klopp remained at Anfield. Loew himself was replaced by Hansi Flick who did not last long. Flick was dismissed and his position was taken over by Julian Nagelsmann.

Now, Klopp is again said to be going to the German national team after declaring his resignation from Liverpool after this season's competition. However, the man who previously interpreted Borussia Dortmund as less interested in coaching Nationalelf.

Klopp, according to Football Insider, is more interested in dealing with Madrid or Barcelona if he returns to coach the team.

When training the German national team, Klopp estimates that Die Mannschaft will not win the title in a short period of time. Moreover, Klopp did need time to build a solid and tough team.

This makes Klopp prefer to handle the club. However, he will not immediately get a new club after leaving Liverpool. Klopp wanted to rest first for a year and then just returned to the club.

Klopp himself has never coached the club in a short time. He handled Dortmund for seven years. As a result, Klopp led Die Borussen to win two Bundesliga titles, the German Cup, and reach the 2023 Champions League final.

When he moved to Liverpool, Klopp also achieved success even though he had to wait until the third year before winning the title.

He won the English League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup or Club World Cup.

This season, Liverpool still have the opportunity to win four trophies, namely the English League, FA Cup, Europa League, and Carabao Cup.

Regarding Barca, Klopp has also been said to be replacing Xavi Hernandez who resigned after the competition.

However, he may not have come to Barca immediately because he wanted to rest first.
