New Faces Potentially Fill In The Chair Of The Indonesian House Of Representatives From NTB

JAKARTA - A number of new faces have the potential to fill the seats of the DPR RI from the electoral districts (Dapil) of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) I and II as a result of the 2024 General Election. Based on data on the 2024.kpu.go.id election page monitored on Saturday morning, February 17, recorded that the incoming votes had reached 59.25 percent at 6,831 polling stations from 11,530 polling stations. These new names excel from the incumbent legislative candidate (Caleg) results of the 2019 election in the two NTB electoral districts, namely NTB 1 Sumbawa Island and NTB 2 Lombok Island. Even from the two electoral districts, potentially one party got two seats. And the possibility of losing seats in the DPR RI because it did not meet the 4 percent threshold. For NTB 1 Sumbawa Island from the three seats contested, Mahdalena led the highest votes with 55,424 votes. Mahdalena is a newcomer to the National Awakening Party (PKB). Not only that, Magdalena was able to break the dominance of the incumbents' votes. Furthermore, the second most winners were incumbent candidates Muhammad Syafrudin with 26,717 votes, moderately. the third place was also won by the incumbent candidate Johan Rosihan with 27,162 votes. Meanwhile, in the NTB 2 electoral district, Lombok Island, a number of new names also led the vote acquisition compared to the incumbents in their respective parties. In the NTB 2 electoral district, Lombok Island is allocated eight seats in the DPR RI. In the top or first position is filled with Gerindra Party candidates, namely Lale Syifaun Nufus with 66,060 votes. Furthermore, in second place there is an incumbent candidate from the Golkar Party, Sari Yuliati with 43,979 votes. In In the third position, there were newcomers who led the incumbent from the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), namely Abdul Hadi with 34,228 votes, while the incumbent Suryadi Jaya Purnama won 32,183 votes. In the fourth position as well as a new face from PKB, namely Lalu Hadrian Irfani with a total of 32,906 votes. Internally the party's vote outperformed the incumbent candidate Helmi Faishal Zaini who received 9,391 votes. In the fifth place the PDI-P (PDIP) won, the vote was still led by the incumbent Rachmat Hidayat with 31,212 votes.

Kemudian di posisi keenam muncul itu di isi caleg petahana dari Partai Demokrat, yakni Nanang Samodra 30.061 suara. Posisi ketujuh pendatang baru dari Partai NasDem yakni mantan Bupati Lombok Barat Fauzan Khalid dengan meraih 25.124 suara, sedangkan petahana HM Syamsul Lutfi 17.506 suara.Posisi kedelapan atau kursi terakhir di Dapil NTB II Pulau Lombok itu sementara ini bertengger nama Ermalena dariĺ PPP dengan 23.347 suara memimpin atas petahana Wartiah 18.192 suara.Di Dapil NTB II sebenarnya hasil sementara perolehan suara terbanyak di tempati Ketua Harian Partai Perindo yang juga menjabat Wakil Ketua TPN pasangan calon Presiden dan Wakil Presiden Ganjar-Mahfud, yakni Tuan Guru Bajang (TGB)ĺp HM Zainul Majdi yang memperoleh 82.462 suara.Namun dari hasil hitung cepat lembaga survei kemungkinan besar Partai Perindo tidak mencapai ambang batas parlemen sebesar 4 persen. Tak hanya itu, PPP pun juga terancam tidak memenuhi ambang batas 4 persen hasil hitung cepat sejumlah lembaga survei.
