The 2024 Election Has Been Completed, The Regent Of Central Lombok Urges The Public To Protect Kamtibmas

CENTRAL LOMBOK - The results of the quick count of a number of institutions show that the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 2 Prabowo-Gibran will come out as the winner of the 2024 presidential election. It is also strengthened by the official count results of the KPU as of today, accessed at 8.00 WIB where the Prabowo-Gibran acquisition figure reached 57.44 percent of the total 63.73 polling stations that had been recorded.

The completion of the 2024 General Election has caught the attention of the Regent of Central Lombok Regency, Lalu Pathul Bahri, who appealed to the public and political party volunteers to jointly maintain security and public order (Kamtibmas).

"Hopefully Central Lombok will remain conducive," said Regent Pathul in his statement in Central Lombok, reported by ANTARA, Saturday, February 17.

According to him, from the results of observations that have been carried out in a number of polling stations (TPS), the 2024 General Election (Pemilu) system has been good as expected.

In fact, he continued, the voting process in Central Lombok went safely and smoothly, there were no problems that surfaced.

"Hopefully this will be an early foothold in politics that will get better, so that democracy will run as expected," he said.

It's just that, he continued, the task with all parties is to increase voter participation, because in the 2024 election, especially in Praya District, almost 17 thousand do not exercise their voting rights.

"That's just one sub-district, not in another sub-district," he said.

He said that there were many factors that caused the community to become goalkeepers, such as the promise of non-competitive legislative candidates, so that residents preferred to abstain rather than come to polling stations to exercise their voting rights.

"Financials also affect politics," he said.

He hopes that the organizers will continue to make various efforts to increase political participation in the next election. So that all people can come to the TPS to exercise their voting rights.
