Honda Africa Twin 2024 Comes With A Competitive Improvement To Run In Various Fields

JAKARTA - Honda, an automotive company from Japan, has confirmed the return of the Africa Twin model. This flagship adventurer motorbike received improvements for the 2024 model.

This motorbike is offered in two variants, namely the Africa Twin and African Twin Adventure Sports ES. Both have qualified abilities in terms of suspension, chassis, engine, and electronics updates.

Brandon Wilson, as Manager of Racing and Experential Marketing American Honda, presented an increase in the Africa Twin as a form of his party's commitment to presenting an adventured motorbike with a satisfactory engine performance.

"Africa Twin is the mainstay of Honda's adventure lineup, and we are pleased to bring this platform update to our customers for 2024," Wilson said on the company's website, Friday, February 16.

For basic variants, this model is upgraded in navigating off-road fields as well as improving performance and comfort while driving.

The position of the windshield is experiencing updates, tubeless tires, and fairing designs experiencing an update and adding to the versatility function of the Africa Twin. Furthermore, updates on platforms such as valve timing revisions, compressions, redesigns, and electronic device refreshes, offer a different driving experience in various conditions.

Meanwhile, the Africa Twin Adventure Sports ES focuses on road conditions. The update includes redesigned intake or exhaust, adjusted valve timing, compressional improvement, and a natural refresher style.

This motorbike also experienced an update with a more rendang seat height, thereby increasing handling on highways and shorter suspensions. The African Twin Adventure Sports ES is equipped with the latest 19-inch front rim which provides convenience and comfort for daily life.

This variant gets several additional features, such as an electronically regulateable suspension, a heating handle, and a larger fuel tank.

These two types are equipped with a 1.084 cc twin engine, manufacturers claiming that these motors can generate 7 percent of torque larger than previous dmodels. Fuel injection mapping setups have also been revised on all models to optimize performance supported by manual and DCT transmission systems.

The Africa Twin is presented with the Red Grand Prix color, priced from USD 14.799 to USD 15.599 (equivalent to IDR 231.6 million to IDR 244.2 million).

Meanwhile, the African Twin Adventure Sports ES got prices ranging from 17,599 US dollars to 18,399 US dollars (around Rp275.5 million to Rp288 million). This model update will arrive at the adventure motorcycle market in May.
