Google Establishes New Center For Artificial Intelligence In France

JAKARTA - The technology company Google is preparing a new center in France dedicated to the artificial intelligence (AI) sector, which will be unveiled on Thursday, February 15, the French Ministry of Finance said in a statement.

The ministry said on Wednesday 14 February that the new center of Google based in Paris will host about 300 researchers and engineers, and that it highlights France's role as a leading technology center.

President Emmanuel Macron has been enthusiastic about promoting the technology sector in France, traditionally lagging behind the United States and the United Kingdom as a software and financial hub.
