IDI Gives Health Appeals For KPPS Teams And Residents At TPS On Voting Day
JAKARTA - The Executive Board of the Indonesian Doctors Association (PB IDI) issued an appeal for all regional IDI and the IDI branch to prepare a standby team to anticipate health issues during the 2024 election voting which will be held tomorrow Wednesday, February 14.
"During the 2024 General Election, we urge all IDI ranks and members to maintain neutrality and adhere to the doctor's oath in providing health services assistance," said Chairman of PB IDI Adib Khumaidi in a press release, Tuesday, February 13.
He also appealed to anticipate that the incident of the collapse of the tired KPPS officers as in the 2019 election would not happen again.
PB IDI also provides a number of health appeals and tips to be implemented for the person in charge of polling stations (TPS), officers of the Voting Organizing Group (KPPS), as well as for voters.

For voters
- Already eating food or breakfast before heading to the TPS Wear clothes and footwear that are comfortable - Use a mask for the elderly and pregnant women as well as for people who are in unhealthy condition or have flu-prompted symptoms using hand sanitizer before and after voting - It is recommended not to bring minors so that there are not too many people in a limited area - immediately return home and do not jost around the TPS so that the air circulation of the TPS area is maintained
