Jambi Polairud Raids Drug Base Camp, 5 Users And 1 Dealer Also Arrested

The Directorate of Water and Air Police (Ditpolairud) of the Jambi Police raided a drug base camp on the outskirts of the Batanghari River, precisely in Kemingking Village, Muaro Jambi Regency. A total of six perpetrators who were users and methamphetamine dealers were also arrested.Head of Sub-Directorate for Gakum Ditpolair Jambi Police AKBP Wahyu Hidayat said the disclosure of the case after previously officers arrested one perpetrator of a methamphetamine dealer."Police members made efforts, both investigations and other efforts in Kemingking Village, Muaro Jambi, and we arrested one person who crossed through the boat, then when the person concerned had crossed and we immediately secured him," he said in Jambi, Antara, Wednesday, February 7.Based on information from the first perpetrator, Polairud carried out developments in the same area, namely Kemingking Village, and. his party found a place suspected of being the location or base camp for a narcotic party of the type of methamphetamine.At that location, officers arrested five other people with evidence of methamphetamine and several other equipment to use methamphetamine.The six perpetrators, namely BI (41), S (30), ZA (49), DK (22), AL (28) residents of Bayung Lencir, South Sumatra and WS (28).According to Wahyu, of the six perpetrators arrested, there was only one person who became a shabu dealer, while the other was a user."Meanwhile, we categorize him as a dealer, one person we initially found and then for the other five when we found him using narcotics," he said.In addition to arresting six perpetrators, Wahyu said, the team also secured a number of evidences such as digital scales, six small packages of methamphetamine in scales, two large packages of methamphetamine in a wooden box, a small package that was at the perpetrators of the Navy and WS, 12 suction devices, 70 syringes, one tera. scales, 100 plastic clips, two staples, one badik knife, one machete, 10 matches and four cell phones.
According to him, the actions of the perpetrators were subject to Article 114 paragraph 2 or Article 112 paragraph 2 Jo Article 132 paragraph 1 of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics.
