KPU Sends Team To Investigate Voter In Malaysia
JAKARTA - The KPU will send a team to trace the ballots that have been cast first in Malaysia.
"We will send a team to deepen all information regarding the implementation of the vote in Malaysia, both postal and mobile ballots (KSK)," said KPU member Idham Holik as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, February 7.
Until now, said Idham, the KPU has not been able to confirm the veracity of the ballot that has been cast first. Therefore, the KPU will check the authenticity of the ballot.
"Yes, that is the function of the team that will be assigned to the Malaysian Foreign Voter Committee (PPLN). Immediately," he said.
Previously, a video circulated showing the legislative and presidential elections in the 2024 General Election has been cast in Malaysia. For the 2024 presidential election ballot, the video appears to be voting for presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 3 Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD.
The Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN) stated that it would immediately send a fact-finding team to investigate allegations of election fraud in the form of illegally voting ballots in Malaysia.
"Perhaps, tomorrow (Wednesday) we will also send a special fact-finding team to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We will fly a team, three or four people, to find out more details about this issue," said Deputy Chairperson of TKN Prabowo-Gibran, Habiburokhman, at a press conference at the TKN Media Center Prabowo-Gibran, Jakarta, Tuesday.
Habiburokhman said TKN Prabowo-Gibran was committed to mobilizing all its might and efforts to fight all forms of fraud in the 2024 election.
