Yenny Wahid Optimistic Ganjar-Mahfud Wins One Round

JAKARTA - The Advisory Board for the National Winning Team (TPN) Ganjar-Mahfud, Zannuba Ariffah Chafsoh or Yenny Wahid is optimistic that the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 3 Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md will win the 2024 presidential election in one round.

One of these can be achieved by winning East Java (East Java) as a basis for nationalist votes and Muslim-based votes.

"Of course, to win East Java, a big combination of nationalist votes and religious voices. So because I am specifically working on religious voices, we are indeed focusing on consolidation for this last stage, the movement must be even faster," Yenny said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, February 6.

He explained that his party began to mobilize village drivers throughout East Java, starting from Malang, then to Pasuruan, Situbondo and so on.

"So, we continue to move to ensure that we really fill these seven days with even greater additions of votes," he said.

The director of the Wahid Foundation revealed that based on internal surveys, Ganjar-Mahfud's electability tends to rise. According to him, this is nothing but the result of movement and struggle as well as the hard work of the team so far.

The increase in surveys was in line with the crowd that filled the campaign event, so that it synchronized between data and facts on the ground.

Meanwhile, Yenny said there were survey results with high numbers, but results on the ground were different.

"Well, the Ganjar-Mahfud pair is clear. So between the data and the field there is an increase. So, this is a very good trend and we hope that the increase in votes is significant so that the target of one round for Ganjar-Mahfud can be achieved. If it is not achieved, God willing, it will enter the second round," concluded Yenny.
