AMIN National Team Claims 3 Million Volunteers Attend Grand Campaign At JIS, Anies Hopes It Will Not Be Made Difficult

Presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan admitted that he could not confirm the number of volunteers who would attend the general meeting or grand campaign campaign at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS).

This is in response to the claim of the National Team for Winning Anies-Muhaimin (Timnas AMIN) which said the last day of the grand campaign at JIS would be attended by 3 million people.

However, regardless of the number of supporters who will attend the stadium in Tanjung Priok, Anies hopes that they will not experience problems and will be complicated by certain parties.

"The important thing is that we anticipate in large numbers and I hope that everything will be given convenience, don't make it difficult because they come to carry out their constitutional rights," said Anies in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara, Tuesday, February 6.

Anies emphasized that the desire of the volunteers to be present to support the presidential and vice-presidential candidates is the right as citizens. On the other hand, Anies also asked his supporters to oversee the course of the vote.

"Our most important struggle is to invite more voting on the 14th and securing votes after voting hours, that's the most important struggle," said Anies.

Previously, member of the Expert Council of the AMIN Supomo National Team claimed that two to three million volunteers would attend the last grand campaign at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), on Saturday (10/2). Supomo said that the estimated number would make all roads around JIS full of supporters of the pair of presidential and vice presidential candidates number 1. "The JIS capacity is 82 thousand to 100 thousand, so the streets around JIS will be filled with crowds. They may not be watching directly inside the stadium and they think the important thing has come to the location," said Supomo. He explained that the volunteers predicted to be present came from more than 1,180 volunteer nodes spread throughout Indonesia and consisted of various cross-professional and community layers.
