Police And Residents Of KKB Shooting Victims In Bayu Biru Papua Evacuated To Nabire
Paniai Police Chief AKBPAbdus Syukur said two victims of the shooting of an armed criminal group (KKB) in Bayu Biru had been evacuated to Nabire, Central Papua. Both are undergoing treatment at a local hospital.
"It is true that two victims of the KKB shooting were already in Nabire for medical treatment," said the Police Chief, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, February 6.
The two victims of the shooting of the armed criminal group (KKB) were Aiptu Manurung and Benjamin Banua (53).
From the reports received, explained the Police Chief, the shooting occurred on Tuesday morning local time at the end of the Baya Biru airport shortly before the landing of the plane belonging to Smart Air. Two people who suffered gunshot wounds were in stable condition.

Baya Biru, which is part of the Pania Regency area, is a gold mining location managed by local miners. To reach this location, you must use a plane or helicopter from Nabire.
