Airlangga Hopes The GIBRAN Program Can Present One Hafiz Village
JAKARTA - Golkar Party Chairman Airlangga Hartarto hopes that the Golkar Indonesia Bertadarus Al-Quran (GIBRAN) program will be able to present at least one hafiz in one village in the country or one hafiz village.
"With GIBRAN, we take one Hafiz Al-Quran village to the national level," said Airlangga when giving a speech at the Isra Miraj 1445 Hijri Commemoration and GIBRAN activities in South Tangerang, Banten, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, February 5.
As for the GIBRAN program, Airlangga continued, it is a replication of the One Village One Hafiz (Sadesha) program from Ridwan Kamil during his tenure as Governor of West Java. Thus, Airlangga hopes that the GIBRAN program will be able to bring the agenda of one village one hafiz or memorize the Koran to a national level, not limited in West Java.
Airlangga conveyed that the commemoration of Isra Miraj 1445 Hijri was a momentum for the entire extended family of the Golkar Party to promote the implementation of the GIBRAN program.
"We take advantage of this momentum (Isra Miraj) to be closer to the community, especially the women of the taklim assembly throughout Indonesia accompanied by promoting what the Golkar Party had previously planned, GIBRAN," he said.
