The Chairperson Of The TKN Considers The DKPP Decision Regarding The Chairperson Of The KPU Violating The Code Of Ethics Because Gibran Is Not Important
Chairman of the National Campaign Team (TKN) Rosan Roeslani said the decision of the Honorary Council of Election Organizers (DKKP) regarding violations committed by the General Elections Commission (KPU) commissioners was not important for the Prabowo-Gibran candidate pair.
"Yes, for us, what is important is that it does not affect the candidacy or does not affect the candidacy or candidacy," said Rosan when met at the Kartika Chandra hotel, South Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, February 5.
According to him, currently the nomination process is ongoing and cannot be contested. His party also feels that they have met all the requirements that must be met by Prabowo-Gibran to run in the presidential and vice presidential elections.
Rosan emphasized that the DKPP decision would not interfere with Prabowo-Gibran's electability, which he currently claims outperforms the other two pairs of candidates.
"I'm sure (electability) doesn't matter at all because this is a process that has been going on, yes, during the campaign," he said.

Previously, the KPPP Honorary Council sentenced the Chairman of the Indonesian KPU Hasyim Asy'ari and six other members to violate the code of ethics in accepting the registration of Gibran Rakabuming Raka as a candidate for vice president of the 2024 General Election.
Chairman of the DKPP Heddy Lugito said Hasyim Asy'ari was sanctioned in the form of the last stern warning. Apart from Hasyim, other members of the Indonesian KPU, namely Yulianto Sudrajat, August Mellaz, Betty Epsilon Idroos, Parsadaan Harahap, Idham Holik, and M Afifuddin, were also given warning sanctions.
Hasyim and six other members of the KPU were reported by Demas Brian Wicaksono with case Number 135-PKE-DKPP/XII/2023, Iman Munandar B. (Number 136-PKE-DKPP/XII/2023), PH Hariyanto (Number 137-PKE-DKPP/XII/2023), and Rumondang Damanik (Number 141-PKE-DKPP/XII/2023).
