Ministry Of Transportation Contacts, Bengkulu Provincial Government Immediately Activate Sea Toll Roads To Java Island

BENGKULU - Bengkulu Provincial Government (Pemprov) will immediately activate the sea toll route from Baai Island Port, Bengkulu City to ports on the island of Java. "To activate the Bengkulu Sea Toll Road, in the near future the Bengkulu Provincial Government will coordinate directly with the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) RI," said Bengkulu Governor Rohidin Mersyah in Bengkulu, Friday, February 2, confiscated by Antara. Lebih lanjut, Rohidin mengatakan walaupun sepanjang tahun 2023 Tol Laut Bengkulu-Tanjung Priok telah diuji coba bahkan dibuka untuk umum, para pengusaha lebih familiar menggunakan jalur darat."Setelah dicoba dengan rute bisnis, ternyata mereka (para pelaku usaha) masih menguntungkan, apalagi mendapat dukungan dari pemerintah," kata dia.Kadis Perhubungan (Kadishub) Provinsi Bengkulu Bambang Agus Suprabudi mengatakan pengaktifan Tol Laut Bengkulu salah satu pertimbangannya yakni adanya permohonan dari para pengusaha, seperti permohonan dari PT. Padang Capo Jaya."Jadi akan kami dorong pengaktifan Tol Laut Bengkulu ini, karena pihak perusahaan bisa menjamin dalam satu periode ekspor kopi bisa mencapai 1.200 ton serta ekspor lainnya, seperti ekspor teh dan buah. Apalagi dari 13 kontainer yang tersedia pihak perusahaan membutuhkan 50 kontainer," ujarnya.
