Deputy Chief Of Police Ensures Apparatus Readiness To Maintain Security For The 2024 Election

BATAM - Deputy Chief of Police, Komjen Agus Andrianto, ensured the readiness of the authorities to maintain the safety of the elections on February 14, 2024.

He conveyed this after handing over social assistance in the activities of the Social Service and Health Service of the National Police Precision for the Country which was held at the Temenggung Abdul Jamal Stadium, Batam City, Riau Islands, Friday, February 2.

"If the election is definitely the Kapolda is ready and I am sure that the police are close to the community, if all officers are close to the community there is no problem that is not resolved. Security must be maintained," Agus said as quoted by ANTARA.

The Deputy Chief of Police also invited the entire community to jointly create security and create a safe and peaceful atmosphere in the implementation of the 2024 General Election.

"Let's help the Police, help the authorities to create security, create a cool atmosphere, especially ahead of the 2024 election," he said.

The Riau Islands Police (Kepri) deployed 3,747 personnel to secure the implementation of the 2024 General Election so that it would run safely and peacefully.

As previously reported, the Riau Islands Police Chief Inspector General Yan Fitri Halimansyah in Batam, Tuesday (30/1) said the 3,747 personnel were for the voting stage, which would be increased by maximizing the number of available personnel.

For the outermost island area, the personnel will immediately depart for their assignment area on 'H-7' before voting.

"Our hope is that they can position themselves 'H-6' or 'H-5' already at their respective locations (assessment)," said Yan.

Conditions in Riau Islands are called conducive and all policy makers work together to keep the province safe and peaceful in the democratic party.
