Special Forces Disguised as Doctors and Infiltrated Hospital in Jenin, This is the Explanation of the Israeli Military Chief of Staff
JAKARTA - The Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said that his party would not allow hospitals to become "covers for terrorism", after Israeli special forces disguised themselves and infiltrated Ibnu Sina Hospital in Jenin, West Bank, killing three Palestinian men, according to Israeli officials and Palestine.
IDF chief Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi claimed that those killed were involved in a terrorist cell that planned to carry out attacks on Israeli civilians.
The IDF has repeatedly accused Hamas of using hospitals as shelters for planning operations and as "human shields." Meanwhile, Hamas has also repeatedly denied these accusations.
"We don't want to turn the hospital into a battlefield," said Lt. Gen. Halevi, reported by The Times of Israel, January 31.
"But we are even more determined not to allow hospitals in Gaza, Judea and Samaria, Lebanon, above ground or in tunnels and tunnels under hospitals, to become places that serve as a cover for terrorism, and allow terrorists to store weapons, to rest, out to carry out attacks," he explained, using the Jewish name for the West Bank.
In a speech to IDF reservists, Lt. Gen. Halevi said the Israeli military would "enter even the most complex places to eradicate terrorism, to harm terrorism, to attack terrorists."
As previously reported, ten Israeli special forces personnel, disguised as doctors, nurses and civilians, stormed the Ibnu Sina Hospital carrying automatic weapons.
The Israeli army used silencers to kill three young men, identified as Mohammad, Basil Al-Ghazzawi and Mohammad Jalamna, as reported by the official Palestinian news agency WAFA.
