Atikoh Talks About Justice In Food Prices To Prevent Farmers And Consumers From Crying
PROBOLINGGO - The wife of the presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo, Siti Atikoh, alluded to the need for stability in food prices. Do not let farmers and consumers cry because they feel disadvantaged.
This was conveyed by Atikoh during a visit with onion farmers on the edge of a rice field in Wonosalam Hamlet, Probolinggo Regency, East Java, Friday, January 26. Initially, he talked about the price of onions which should be in the range of Rp. 14 thousand to benefit them.
Last September, the price of onions was Rp. 9 thousand to Rp. 10 thousand, even though the lowest price was Rp. 14 thousand. That's so that you can buy fertilizers, medicines, if below that the farmers lose," said Atikoh to the farmers.
So, in the future, this condition should not occur when candidate pairs (paslon) number three, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD are elected. Atikoh said, there must be price stability so that farmers and consumers do not lose both.
"If the price is low, farmers cry. If the price is expensive, consumers cry. So, there needs to be a fair price," he said.

"We hope that there will be no scarcity of fertilizer. Fertilizer is cheap and not complicated. That is a request from farmers," said Edi.
On that occasion, Atikoh had time to plant onion seeds with the farmers. Using boots, he went down to the fields and was seen several times talking to them.
