Electric Car Subaru Solterra 2024 Has Many Updates, Without Rising Prices
JAKARTA - The American Subaru officially announced an all-electric Solterra 2024 SUV, with new features to improve driver comfort and versatility.
Interestingly, based on his official statement on Friday, January 26, although there were many improvements that were presented, the price did not increase compared to the previous year.
Subaru Solterra 2024 is available at the trim Premium, Limited, and Touring levels and is priced at US$44,995 or around Rp. 712 million, not including taxes.
In more detail, the upgrade presented, this all-electric SUV includes a redesigned steering wheel that gets a regenerative braking button, improved charging performance thanks to more efficient battery conditioning, and standard rails with a static load capacity of up to 700 pounds.
In addition, each Solterra model uses the All-Symmetric Subaru Wheel Driven System and StarDrive Subaru Technology, which generates linear and seamless output from double electric motors placed on the front and rear doubles.
Furthermore, All Solterra models are equipped with Dual-Function X-MOD, consisting of Snow, Deep Snow and Snow Mud with a control grip and Downhill Assist Control to improve performance in low and off-road grip conditions.
Each of the Solterras has an 8.3-inch ground clearance for off-road capabilities, a hallmark of Subaru and the best in class among small electric SUVs, and is equipped with standard Active Cornering Assist and Vehicle Stability Control for better road stability and handling.
Solterra's high-capacity lithium-ion battery pack includes many daily ranges that can be used with improvements to its fast charging capabilities. The 2024 solterra can recharge its battery from 10 to 80 percent in just 35 minutes, with a charging status indicator that displays an estimated time of up to 80 or 100 percent. Thanks to the improved battery conditioning system, the 2024 Solterra can charge at temperatures below freezing significantly faster than its predecessor, up to 80 minutes faster under certain conditions.
With thousands of public charging stations available and accessible, as well as DC fast charging, charging Solterra away from home is now faster and easier. At home, Solterra offers affordable Level 1 or Level 2 charging compatibility.

Another thing new to Solterra 2024 is the new Subaru EyeSight advanced driver assistance feature, which has not been found in other Subaru vehicles. Even interestingly, this car can switch lanes according to orders by activating the sein lights, and the addition of the Front Cross Traffic Alert makes the journey to the intersection safer by warning drivers of potential collisions.

To add convenience, Solterra is available with a 12.3-inch high-resolution touchscreen for infotainment, with the wireless compatibility of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, adding to the convenience of the 2024 Solterra covering five USB charging points, one USB-A connection and two USB-C connections for passengers in the front seat, two USB-C charging points for drivers in the back seat. Wireless phone chargers are included at the trim level of Solterra Limited and Touring.
