Celebrate The 20th Anniversary Of V-Series, Cadillac Presents A Sedan With Gahar Performance

JAKARTA - In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the V-Series division, Cadillac introduced the latest CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing with several improvements in terms of performance, technology, and luxury as sports cars from the US.

John Ruth, as Vice President of Cadillac Global, said that the CT5 model made an impressive contribution making it a model with the best global sales and it is hoped that this high-performance variant will receive a good response.

"As V-Series celebrates its record year, the importance of this option is for customers who value performance and manpower," Ruth said on the company's website, Thursday, January 25.

As a model for 2025, the sedan gets a refresh on the exterior with revised front facilities, offering stronger visual signals that increasingly distinguish CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing.

Then, the design revision continues on the front LED lighting section positioned vertically with the Mondrian pattern. Both are offered in three colors, namely Metallic Drift, Deep Space Metallic, and Metallic Typhoon.

Meanwhile, the interior features an aggressive surface line with a focus on quality, attention to the details, authenticity of the material, and perfect work. Both models are equipped with 33-inch LED touchscreen.

The advanced features are also presented in these two models, consisting of Super Cruise developed by Cadillac with the latest Driver Attention Assist. OnStar technology is also presented that provides safety, entertainment, comfort, and driver assistance.

For performance, CT5-V is equipped with a 3.0 TT engine with a 360 dk magnitude and a maximum torque of 549 Nm joins the transmission of ten accelerations with an all-wheel drive system (AWD).

Then the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing variant is intended for consumers who want to perform more fiercely, have a 6.2 liter supercharged V8 engine measuring 668 dk and an 893 Nm torque and is equipped with a transmission of ten automatic accelerations or six manual accelerations.

Both models will be produced at the General Motors (GM)'s Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan, USA, and will start production in the summer of 2024. Details of the price will be announced in the near future.
