WhatsApp Develops File Sending Features With Closest People

JAKARTA WhatsAppakan launched People Nearby, a new feature for sharing files in an easy way. As the name implies, this feature can only be used with those closest to you.

Based onWABetaInfo's findings, PEOPLE Nearby is still being developed by WhatsApp so that the experimental version has not been added to WhatsApp Beta. However, in the near future, WhatsApp will test this feature.

It's not yet known when the People Nearby feature will be tested, but WhatsApp will add this feature to the beta version 2.24.20. After entering the testing phase for a few weeks or months, this feature will only be released to the original app.

When this feature has been added to beta, the testers can use the features to share files easily and closely. The system may be like Bluetooth because this feature will display the nearest account that is activating People Nearby.

To share the files, users only need to select another user's account that is currently active, then wait until the request to send the file is received. After that, the file will be sent as long as the user is near the sender.

It is not known the type and capacity for this file delivery, but the system will implement encryption-to-end. This means that users do not need to be afraid of important files being spread or taken by irresponsible parties because the encryption is maintained.

The file sharing feature can be very useful as long as this feature can compete with regular file shipments via chat. If WhatsApp can make its delivery much more efficient, users may be happy with this update.
