Residents Stabbing Case, 14 Youths In Banda Aceh Arrested
BANDA ACEH - Banda Aceh Police personnel arrested as many as 14 youths who wanted to fight using sharp weapons after slashing residents at a coffee shop in Gampong Lamgugob, Syiah Kuala District, Banda Aceh.
"The Rimueng Satreskrim team has again arrested 14 other perpetrators in various places and seven sharp weapons of various types," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Banda Aceh Police, Kompol Fadillah Aditya Pratama, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, January 22.
Previously, two residents in Banda Aceh M Zulmi and Fakhrus Walidan were hacked by the teenagers who wanted to fight. As a result, the two victims are still being treated at the hospital, Sunday (21/1) in the early hours of the morning. The police arrested seven perpetrators.
The youths planned a brawl on Jalan Teuku Nyak Arif, to be precise in front of the Regional Library (Puswil) Aceh, Banda Aceh.
The evidence confiscated by the police was a saw that had been modified in the form of a jagged machete.
After that, said Fadillah, the police carried out developments and arrested the main perpetrator with the initials YF in the crime of persecution, and arrested one by one from up to 14 people.
"The police arrested one by one their colleagues who were involved in acts of persecution with sharp weapons against residents," said Fadillah.
The stabbing incident began with a plan for a brawl between teenagers in front of the Aceh Regional Library Office, Banda Aceh.
Then, one group riding a motorbike saw a passing resident, then they turned around by swinging a sharp weapon at M Zulmi's body (29), a resident of Lamduro, Aceh Besar.

The victim then fled to Warkop Benk Kupi gampong Lamgugob. But still carried out the action until the victim suffered a cut on the right finger.
Not finished there, the perpetrators also abused Fahkrus Walidan (23) UIN student Ar Raniry from Simeulue, who was enjoying coffee there.
"The victim suffered injuries to the head, left wrist and left back, and both were taken to the hospital," said Fadillah.
