Airlangga Targets A 60 Percent Prabowo-Gibran Victory In West Java, The 'Go Gibran' Program Becomes Focus
GARUT - General Chairperson of the Golkar Party, Airlangga Hartarto, released the target for presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 2, Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka, in the 2024 presidential election in West Java. In his statement while attending the Consolidation of the Golkar Party's Victory in Garut, West Java, Saturday, January 21, Airlangga said that the target of victory in West Java reached 60 percent of the vote.
"I am the official position in the TKN (National Campaign Team) as Chair of the Steering Committee and of course I hope that Prabowo-Gibran's victory in West Java is targeted at 60 percent," said Airlangga.
Not only that, Airlangga also stated that the realization of Prabowo-Gibran's victory in West Java could exceed the target set. For the Garut area, Airlangga even set a winning target of 65 percent of the vote.
In their efforts to achieve this target, Airlangga and TKN have designed a number of programs, including the "Go Gibran" program which will be the focus of the campaign. This program includes initiatives such as free meals and free milk.
"So, the most important thing now is to work on (teach) the people, then explain the Go Gibran program, one of which is free food, free milk," said Airlangga.

Airlangga also highlighted the plan of the Prabowo-Gibran pair to continue President Joko Widodo's programs, especially in terms of providing social assistance. He said that the government had allocated a large budget of around Rp443 trillion for social assistance, which would be one of the priorities of this pair if elected.
"The program is to continue Pak Jokowi's program, one of which is providing social assistance. The government has issued a large APBN for social assistance, around Rp443 trillion," he added.
Airlangga also expressed his hope that victory could be achieved linearly, not only at the provincial, district/city level but also nationally. Thus, both the Prabowo-Gibran pair and the Golkar Party can meet the previously planned winning target. "Linear to the party, linear to the president," he concluded.
