Debat Pilpres Keempat, Cak Imin Bakal Gaungkan Ketahanan Pangan

JAKARTA - The captain of the National Team for Winning Anies-Muhaimin (AMINAn National Team) M. Syaugi Alaydrus claims his vice presidential candidate, Muhaimin Iskandar, will master the theme that will be discussed in the fourth debate of the 2024 presidential election.

One of the crucial issues that Cak Imin will echo according to the theme of the fourth debate is food security in Indonesia.

"I think that so far he (pays attention to) climate change, that will lead to food security. Food security will run to farmers who must be prepared," Syaugi told reporters, Friday, January 19.

The issue of food security, admitted Syaugi, is indeed the focus of Anies-Cak Imin in conveying the ideas and vision of development missions that will be carried out when he is elected President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia in 2024.

Both of them also often reveal that the cause of food security is not yet optimal, namely the expensive fertilizer price and leads to unintensive farmer conditions.

"Pak Anies and Pak Muhaimin always say that there are only three farmers' problems, not many. Number one is fertilizer, number two is fertilizer, number three is fertilizer. So that's what he will echo later," explained Syaugi.

"Hopefully with the readiness that has been prepared, God willing, we can see together on Sunday how his strategy is to eat all these substances," he continued.

The fourth debate for the 2024 presidential election will take place at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on Sunday, January 21 starting at 19.00 WIB.

The debate will bring together the vice presidential candidate number 1 Muhaimin Iskandar, vice presidential candidate number 2 Gibran Rakabuming Raka and vice presidential candidate number 3 Mahfud MD.

The General Elections Commission (KPU) streamlined the theme of the second vice presidential debate on Sunday, January 21. The cross-section from 7 to 6 debate themes has been discussed and agreed between the KPU and the winning team of three presidential-cawapres and television pool pairs.

KPU commissioner August Mellaz said, initially the theme of the vice presidential debate this time amounted to seven themes and is now paired with six themes.

"From the seven themes, we have arranged six themes," August said, Thursday, January 18.

August then revealed the latest theme of the vice presidential debate, namely first sustainable development and the environment. Second, natural resources and energy.

"The third theme is food. The fourth theme is agrarian. The fifth theme is indigenous peoples and the sixth theme is village," said August.

Prior to downsizing, the debate theme consisted of seven themes, namely sustainable development, natural resources (SDA), food, carbon taxes, the environment, agrarianism, indigenous peoples, and villages.
