Honda NX500 Ready To Compete In India, Offers High Performance And Modern Features
JAKARTA - After his debut at the EICMA event last year, Honda NX500 is ready to step into the Indian market. This news is based on a network of dealers who have opened orders for this bike.
Reporting from the Autocar India website, Thursday, January 18, Honda NX500 will be part of the ADV Honda India motorcycle family along with the Transalp 750 and Africa Twin.
This bike is designed to provide a satisfying driving experience in various conditions, ranging from winding roads, winding roads, to long-distance adventures.
Speaking of specifications, the Honda NX500 is powered by a liquid-cooled 471cc engine, the same parallel twin machines as those used in the previous CB500X. This machine is capable of generating 47.5hp of power and 43Nm of torque. Weighing 196kg, the NX500 weighs almost equivalent to the new Royal Enfield Himalayan.

In terms of comfort, this motor is equipped with spring and subsidence on the USD Showa SFF-BP fork with a diameter of 41 mm, and the disc brake as the standard on the front. Various modern features are also embedded, including a 5-inch TFT dashboard screen, Honda RoadSync, and HSTC.
While there is no definite picture of the price yet, it is estimated not much different from the CB500X that has been stopped, with an estimated 579,000 rupees or around Rp108 million. The motor will be available in two color variants, namely red and black, with deliveries expected to begin in February or March.
