This Is LMKN's Response To Anji's Song Which Is Called Not Getting Royalties From The Concert
JAKARTA - Erdian Aji Prihartanto alias Anji revealed a list of songs he wrote that did not receive royalties from music concerts. In this case, he criticized the National Collective Management Institute (LMKN).
Responding to Anji's complaint, Johnny Maukar as the Commissioner of LMKN said that if what was complained was royalties in 2023, there was a possibility that the calculation would not be completed.
"If that's the problem in 2023, there are indeed two possibilities, the promoter has not paid or we have not finished. Maybe February can only be (distributed)," said Johnny Maukar during a press conference at the LMKN Office, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Wednesday, January 17.
Johnny said that his party always tried to collect royalties from music concerts, but it was admitted that there were still many organizers who did not pay royalties correctly. So far, various efforts have also been taken.
"If the promoter has not paid, we have asked for it, so who hasn't paid? If Anji says the promoter hasn't paid yet, how can we distribute it. We have written to him," he said.
Furthermore, Marcell Siahaan who is also the Commissioner of LMKN said Anji's complaint was not entirely correct. He said that Drive's former vocalist complaint to LMKN was wrong.

For information, Anji through his Instagram account revealed a list of songs that were said to have not received royalties from music concerts. These songs include Bersama Bintang (Drive), Missing You (DMasiv), Breaking Up or Continuing (Judika), Splitting It's Easy (Rizky Febian and Mikha Tambayong), About You (Lyodra), and Trusting Me and Tired of Being Trained by Rindu (Chintya Gabriella).
