The Football Anti-Mafia Task Force Spilled Vigit Waluyo Suspect In The Score Fixing Case To The Sleman Kejari

JAKARTA - The National Police's Anti-Mafia Ball Task Force will delegate 7 suspects in the alleged match fixing case in Liga 2. Delegation is made to the Seleman District Attorney.

"So yesterday, January 16, 2024, our investigation process has been declared complete or P-21 by the public prosecutor. So that our obligation as investigators is to hand over the suspect and evidence or stage two to the public prosecutor," said Head of Sub-Directorate II of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police, Kombes Alfis Suhaili, to reporters, Wednesday, January 17.

The suspects include Vigit Waluyo, DRN, M as the middle referee, E assistant referee 1, R as assistant referee 2, A as the reserve referee, and KM who is the referee's LO.

They were transferred to the Seleman District Attorney because the location of the crime was in Yogyakarta.

"Because the incident of witnesses and the judicial process will be carried out in the jurisdiction of the Special Region of Yogyakarta and tomorrow we will hand it over to the public prosecutor there at the Sleman District Attorney," he said.

In this case, the suspects are suspected of having different articles. For the three people who acted as bribes, including Vigit Waluyo, they were subject to Article 2 and/or Article 3 of Law Number 11 of 1980 concerning bribes in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.

Previously, the Deputy Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit and the Head of the Anti-Mafia Ball Task Force, Inspector General Asep Edi Suheri, said that his party was still hunting for one other suspect. He acts as a courier in a series of bribes for match-fixing.

"A courier with the status of a DPO with the initials GAS and until now we are still pursuing it," said Asep.
